With the release of their new Zelda game, Nintendo wanted an immersive custom shopping experience on walmart’s website highlighting their various consoles with an emphasis on the latest releases.

This brand store included a fully customized, full bleed header with a direct-to-cart game purchase option, a unique feature in the video games category.

Other highlights included embedded video content as well as product filters for each console and product line.

Nintendo called it their “best online retail execution of the year”.

The page was supported by several run-of-site and native traffic drivers as well as Facebook ads.
